E-11 Beacon is a character that appears in the anime series Sonic X. It is a purple bird-like E-Series robot that Dr. Eggman built.
Description[]
It first activated to help him retrieve a Chaos Emerald but after the doctor noticed Sonic the Hedgehog was after the emerald as well, Eggman ordered it to attack Sonic. Beacon mainly bounced Sonic around but with the help of Tails and Amy, Sonic was able to destroy it. Eggman later rebuilt Beacon to help fend off an attack by GUN's air force.[2]
Trivia[]
- Beacon slightly resembles the Balkirys from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and the Egg Hawk from Sonic Heroes.
- Beacon might be made of some material different to metal, as it made Sonic bounce around on it before he destroyed it.
- In the Japanese version of Sonic X, Beacon is simply referred to as "E-11".
